Barbara is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate processing of the weekly payroll, tax filings, union reports and all other duties associated with payroll. She is also responsible for all Human Resource issues, benefits, safety, risk management, sales and use tax filings, and monthly and yearly financial closings.
Expertise
Barbara started with Energy Systems Industries in 1998, just prior to it becoming part of EMCOR. In her position as Payroll Manager, she is responsible for processing weekly payroll for over 1,800 employees in 37 states and 17 unions. She is also responsible for tracking and paying all state and federal withholding and unemployment taxes. Prior to joining Energy Systems Industries, Barbara was employed with Flour Daniel/Ground Water Technologies as a Payroll Manager and Safety Assistant.
The Personal Side
Barbara enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and daughter in New Hampshire. She also enjoys boating, jet-skiing, water sports, and watching NASCAR, football, and baseball.
