As portfolio director at Building Technology Engineers (BTE), Craig oversees several managers and is accountable for the total performance of multiple accounts ranging from $100K to $3M in revenue.

He represents BTE and EMCOR Facilities Services to clients, maintains customer affairs, encourages long-term business relationships, and uses local EMCOR affiliates to grow projects organically.

In conjunction with the regional vice president and general manager, Craig helps to develop and execute strategic direction and is accountable for implementing these strategies throughout the business.

Craig is also BTE’s regional safety director. He oversees and implements the regional safety program and works to improve the safety culture to continually strive for Zero Accidents.

Expertise

Before joining EMCOR, Craig spent six years in the Johnson Controls’ Integrated Facilities Management Division. Starting as an HVAC technician with heating and power plant experience, he progressed through the ranks to operations manager and later, account manager.

He joined the EMCOR team in 2004 as an account manager and was promoted to project manager in 2005. In addition to his many years of experience, he has built his success on his drive to grow team members by promoting teamwork and by fostering a work environment that is conducive to success for EMCOR, its employees, and clients.

Craig has participated in Northeastern University’s supervisor development and facilities management certificate courses. He has also taken Metasys facility operator training at the Johnson Controls Institute, as well as 2nd and 3rd class engineer, 1st and 2nd class fireman, and wastewater treatment courses at Peterson School of Steam Engineering.

An approved hoisting engineer, Craig holds a Commonwealth of Massachusetts 3rd class engineer and oil burner technician’s licenses. He has also earned OSHA 501 and universal refrigerant recovery certifications.

The Personal Side

Craig has been married for over 21 years to his wife Stacie; they have two daughters, Ashley and Sarah. In his spare time, Craig enjoys fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family.
